Australia’s hottest acts and upcoming talent will perform on the Heineken Stage at Grand Slam® Oval during Australian Open 2012.

Presented by Nova 100, an array of musical artists including rock bands, live DJs and pop icons will descend on Grand Slam Oval to bring a party-like atmosphere each evening during the tournament.

Artists including Eskimo Joe will decend on the Grand Slam Oval from 6pm, to bring a party-like atmosphere each evening during the tournament. Concerts are open to all Australian Open spectators and are the perfect way to sit back and relax after spending a day watching the tennis at Melbourne Park!

A stunning atmosphere, an intimate show and two huge bands - a cracker of a night! If you were lucky enough to win tickets, as that was the only way to get in, we hope you loved it! From all accounts so far, it was amazing! If you missed out, video footage of Eskimo Joe's performance of "Love Is A Drug" is now up. The full show will be aired in the coming weeks - details to come.

Eskimo Joe visited triplej earlier this year for Like A Version. The result is one fantastic cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know"! In Kimbra's absence to help the Eski's out, Fred was required to step in (see Fred's celebrity snapshot here). Announcing the winner of the "Echo" video competition with Genero.tv

With quite a few fantastic clips submitted to the Genero.tv "Echo" video competition, it was a laboured decision but the winner is Andy Pearce! Andy's fantastic entry is now the official video clip to "Echo" and he receives the $4,000 prize. The winner of the popular online vote is jeshraghian, who will receive the $1,000 prize. The band has written a little statement about each of the finalist's videos, which you can read here. Huge thanks to everyone who entered! So many top entries!

Tales From The Road - Fare thee well

The Ghosts Of The Past Tour is over. We wrapped up the tour with two huge shows at the Astor in Perth. It was great to play the last shows in our home town. Thanks to all that came down and yelled the floorboards loose.

The last few shows before Perth, we drove up the coast from Sydney to Coffs Harbour, then across to Lismore and then onto Caloundra for the Caloundra Music Festival. Situated right on the beach, this was a really well organised festival, with some great talent on the bill. It was the first time we've had the pleasure of seeing The Jezabels play live, and they didn't disappoint. Great songs, great vocalist and a band that I think has a real shot at making some serious waves overseas. Great to see some new Aussie talent really kicking arse.

We also shared the stage with The Empire Of The Sun. We've known Luke Steele for many a year now, in fact we played our first EVER show against his band, Blue Steele, in a National University Band Competition. We've all come a long way since then... Steelo looks like he's been to a galaxy far, far away and back... They put on a great show though, and was awesome to see Steelo back on the guitar. From there we went onto Townsville for the Full Noise Festival, where we proceeded to try and drink the bars dry with the help of The Vines and the lads from Grinspoon.

Shaking our hangovers loose, we flew down to Brisbane for the last East Coast show at the Tivoli, another one of our favourite Australian venues. Without a doubt, one of the best crowds of the tour, (along with Perth of course). So once, again, thanks to all of you who came out to see us, thankyou as well to all the fans who bought VIP tickets, it was a pleasure to play you some acoustic tracks before each show, taking requests and fumbling our way through our back catalogue... And a special thank you to our tour manager and all the crew who made the whole run flow smoothly. We've a few festivals lined up for November and December, so stay tuned to the website for all the details. Thank you and goodnight.
